Tsubasa is Koyomi's classmate, and seems to have known Senjogahara since middle school. She seem to be very intelligent and is described by Koyomi as the "the class president of all class presidents."
One day, she tried to help a cat lying on the side of a street. Suddenly she got strange headaches until cat ears emerged from her head, her hair turned white, and she climbed a tree. Oshino told Araragi that she had the characteristics of a cat now, and that the stress of her home and school life placed such a heavy burden on her that her subconscious mind took over in the form of a white cat. As a cat, Hanekawa prowled the rooftops and stalked her prey, the major source of her stress: her parents. Once she leaped into action, she drained them of all their energy, then set her sights on Araragi. Araragi though she would do the same to him, and led her into a trap where Shinobu emerged out of nowhere and sucked out Hanekawa's energy with her vampiric fangs until the cat receded and Hanekawa returned to normal.

C.C. is apparently immortal, healing from any wound (implied to include beheading) with enough time. She also doesn't age. Apart from her immortality, C.C. has the ability to bestow people with the power of Geass, which manifests differently in each person but generally carries the ability to affect the minds of those it is used on in some way. The Geass sigil glows on her forehead whenever she manifests this power, and she has a similar scar on her left breast. It is hinted that many more like her exist, as shown in her memories of many children with similar sigils, and she suggests that the power has precipitated bloody conflicts in the past. Her powers caught the interest of Britannia, who imprisoned her for experimentation purposes.
