Chi (ちぃ, Chii) is a fictional character in the manga series Chobits, and its anime adaptation. She is a Chobit, a type of persocom that is far more technologically advanced than regular persocoms, and who are said to possess true machine intelligence rather than relying on the execution of pre-loaded software programs like other persocoms.[1]

The name "Chobits" comes from the fact that her creator, Ichiro Mihara, used the word "Chobi" to describe anything he thought was "small and hopelessly adorable". Two Chobi (Chi and her sister Freya) become "Chobits".

Karen Kōzuki (紅月カレン, Kōzuki Karen) is a Britannian-Eleven girl, who believes herself to be a Japanese person at heart and prefers to be known by her birth name. She comes from a prestigious Britannian family and attends the Ashford Academy, where she is a member of its student council and amongst its most outstanding students. Her brother, Naoto Kōzuki (紅月ナオト, Kōzuki Naoto?), with whom she had a deep connection, was a former leader of the resistance organization and died in the past.

Mizuho Kazami (風見 みずほ, Kazami Mizuho?)
A 23 (as alien physiology is only hinted at, and growth rates may be different for the un-named alien species she is partly derived from) year old half alien, half human, Planet Inspector from the Galactic Federation, sent to Earth to observe and study humans. Mizuho came to Earth to monitor the planet though inadvertently was seen by Kei as she was just landing on Earth. Although she did not trust him at first, she started to become attracted to Kei after they exchanged secrets about their past. In a conversation with Maho, Kei learns that she is the youngest member of the GF Observers ever to gain a license. Also from Maho we learn that Mizuho apparently has never had a romantic relationship, which is verified when she admits as much to Kei.

One of the main conflicts in the story involves Mizuho and how she tends to have great jealousy and misjudgment. She even went to such great lengths as to spy on Kei while he was hanging out with a friend from school, Koishi Herikawa, in a set up date, and when Mizuho's mother held Kei hostage in a hotel.
Her catch phrase is "Saiyu sen jiko yo!" ("This is a priority one!").

A beautiful, young and popular idol. Like almost everyone else, she was caught in the line of fire during Izumi's killing spree in Shinjuku. She develops a crush on Kurono after seeing him in action during her first night as a participant in the game (the Dinosaur Mission). Gantz used to call her "Kurono's #1 Fan," but now he just calls her "Reika." Surprisingly enough, she proves to be a formidable opponent against the Aliens. She uses her points to resurrect Tae because she wants Kurono to be happy.

香坂 しぐれ, Kōsaka Shigure
Shigure is a mysterious kunoichi and a slow talker. She is also a master of many weapons and believes that weaponry should be seen as part of the body: simply relying on the weapons strength alone will not make you a master of it.

Videl is the daughter of Mr. Satan (known as Hercule in the censored productions of Ocean, the older English dub). Mr. Satan is very protective of her, especially in respect to boys. She grew up learning martial arts hoping to be as great as her dad, when in fact, unknown to herself she was already better than him and doubts her father is capable of defeating Cell, an assumption she would eventually guess right. She is a tough, tomboyish character, raised with fame all around her. In her spare time, Videl fights crime in Satan City.
In the DBZ movie Wrath of the Dragon and in the video games, she becomes Great Saiyanman MK II aka Great Saiyanwoman and teams up with Gohan to fight crime.
