The Nirvash (ニルヴァーシュ Niruvāshu?) type ZERO, along with its pilots Eureka and Renton, is something of a visual symbol for Eureka Seven, and the LFO itself is complicit in many of the series' mysteries. The Nirvash type ZERO was the first archetype discovered, and the LFO created from this archetype was the base model that many other LFOs were designed around. Both versions of the Nirvash's outer shell were created by the scientists at Tresor, and both ref boards were created by Axel Thurston.

Though LFOs are commonly equipped with a secondary seat, the Nirvash is the only archetype whose natural shape suggests that it should accommodate two people. It is also one of the few LFOs capable of operating without a Compac Drive, thanks to the unique nature of its pilot. However, the Seven Swell phenomenon it is capable of will only work when a Compac Drive and the Amita Drive are attached. According to Axel Thurston, the Amita Drive was developed to bring forth the true potential of the type ZERO and amplifies the effect of the Compac Drive. The installation of the Amita Drive unlocks the Satori Program which allows the unleashing of the Seven Swell phenomenon. At times, the Nirvash has responded to its pilots' commands without the use of its mechanical interface and even moves on its own to protect them; this is apparently not exclusive to Renton and Eureka, since Sumner Sturgeon was able to get the Nirvash to activate through verbal commands when he was forced to pilot it against his former teammates. It also has the ability to seemingly upgrade itself to suit its pilots, first in a minor fashion and in a much greater way later on.

The Nirvash's main weapons are a pair of boomerang knives (basic equipment for it and the Terminus series of LFOs). In addition to these, the Nirvash also features small chaff and flare launchers on its back to confuse missiles and dissuade followers. Apart from this, however, the Nirvash is relatively underpowered when compared to other LFOs, relying more on its high maneuverability and the skill of its pilots.

Though not technically a weapon, the Nirvash has the ability to trigger the Seven Swell, an event which generates a massive pillar of multi-colored trapar. Though its properties vary, it has the immediate effect of increasing the trapar count in the surrounding area, usually to the point that even a trapar-deprived area will become instantly flight-worthy. The trapar can also be used to disable other LFOs by causing the organic frame to reject the mechanical components, though this doesn't occur until later in the series.
Nirvash type ZERO spec2

After Eureka and Renton activate the true form of the Seven Swell phenomenon, the Nirvash's archetype grows and expands beyond its original frame, forcing a redesign to accommodates its new shape. The upgraded form of the Nirvash type ZERO is built according to the apparent will of the type ZERO and the physical growth of the archetype. This results in the slimmer, more jet-like spec2.

The spec2 features a much sleeker design and improved capabilities when compared to the original, though it features no new armaments. The spec2's cockpit is redesigned to position the pilots closer together. Back seats are also built into the spec2. The Compac Drive is attached to a lever, allowing Eureka and Renton to trigger the Seven Swell phenomenon simply by lifting it into an upright position. According to Dr. Morita, the spec2 controls identically to the original with the exception of the mode shift interface. Renton and Eureka seem to be able to pilot the spec2 with even more proficiency than the original model, and also are able to control the Seven Swell with much more proficiency (compared to the more random nature it previously displayed).

The spec2's main feature is its ability to transform into a high-speed jet (though it also retains its car form). In jet form, it can move fast enough to outrun the END's homing lasers. The spec2 can still move its limbs while in jet mode (demonstrated when it pulled a blade out to cut a cord while in jet mode in episode 48). The board of the spec2, unlike the previous board, is split into two halves that are manually combined by the Nirvash when needed. When not in use, the halves of the board are attached near the Nirvash's arms. The board makes up the nose of the spec2 when in jet form.

#1: NZZ-666 Kshantrya [Gundam Unicorn]

A 20 meter-class psycommu mobile suit developed by Neo Zeon. Thanks to the use of a psycho-frame, and the addition of binders that combine the functions of weapons, thrusters, and funnel containers, this machine retains all the firepower of the NZ-000 Queen Mansa despite its reduced size. The psycho-frame is incorporated in the structural material around its chest cockpit.

Technology & Combat CharacteristicsEdit

The Kshatriya is an improved model of the NZ-000 Quin-Mantha developed by Anaheim Electronics. The Kshatriya is much smaller than the Quin-Mantha but has equal firepower.

This is accomplished by the four large shoulder binders similar to that of the Quin-Mantha, each binder storing a pair of mega particle cannons, beam saber holding sub-arms and six funnels. The main body of the Kshatriya also has four mega particle cannons and two beam sabers. Also, the beam gatling gun used by the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam originally belonged to the Kshatriya. Although the Kshatriya lacks the "mega particle deflection system" seen on the NZ-000, an I-field barrier generator was installed instead. Its original psycommu system was also replaced with a more effective psychoframe.

Although the Kshatriya is a massive mobile suit it has fairly good mobility thanks to the thruster-mounting wing binders.

Armaments

*Beam Saber

The Kshatriya is armed with a total of six beam sabers for melee combat. Two are located in the forearms to allow for quick responses to close combat threats, while the remaining four are hidden — together with four sub-arms — in the Kshatriya's binders. These four sabers are likely fall-backs to allow the Kshatriya to fight off multiple enemies, or as a trump card to allow it to catch unsuspecting foes off-guard. The generated beams are strong enough to cut through standard mobile suit armor with ease.

*Beam Vulcan Gun

The Kshatriya is armed with two beam-based vulcan guns in the chest, between the Mega Particle Cannons. These are used mostly to intercept small missiles.

*Funnels

The Kshatriya is armed with a grand total of twenty-four funnels for all-range attacks. Each funnel possesses a powerful beam gun that is capable of melting an enemy mobile suit's armor. Six are stored within each of the Kshatriya's four binders, and are remotely controlled primarily through use of the psychoframe-equipped cockpit. These funnels are used primarily to allow the Kshatriya to engage large numbers of enemies at the same time, or to allow it to overwhelm a powerful foe. However, they are shown to be vulnerable to the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam's NT-D System.

*Mega Particle Cannon

The Kshatriya is armed with an incredible twelve mega particle cannons. Four are mounted on the chest, giving the Kshatriya great firepower in its forward arc. They can be fired together to create a single and very powerful linked beam, or to fire a scattering beam in a manner similar to a shotgun. Two more of these cannons are mounted on each binder, allowing the Kshatriya to fight off enemies from virtually any direction.

ZGMF-X19A Infinite Justice [Gundam Seed Destiny]

The ZGMF-X19A Infinite Justice is a mobile suit and the successor to ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam and featuring appears in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. The unit is mainly piloted by Athrun Zala.

Technology & Combat Characteristics:
While the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom is armed with many long-ranged weapons like DRAGOONSs, the ∞ Justice has many close combat weapons. Its armaments include several beam sabers and blades, machine cannons, a beam boomerang, a grapple stinger and an optional beam rifle. As with its predecessor, the ∞ Justice mounts a sub-flight lifter, which also mounts a large number of weapons like beam cannons and beam sabers. The ∞ Justice seems designed to fight mostly other mobile suits, unlike the Strike Freedom which easily destroys 3 Nazca class battleships. However, the sub-flight lifter is capable of ramming straight through an enemy ship and Athrun uses this tactic to great effect to almost single-handedly sink the Minerva.

METEOR unit:
The METEOR unit is equipped with additional weapons and grants the ∞ Justice use of 120cm beam cannons,93.7cm high-energy beam cannons, MA-X200 beam swords and "Erinaceus" anti-ship missile launchers.

MMI-GAU26 17.5mm CIWS:
A CIWS mounted in the chest also for short range engagements, soft targets and point defense.

MMI-M9L 14mm dual machine guns:
Two machine guns mounted in the head meant for short range engagements, soft targets and point defense.

MR-Q15A "Griffon" beam blades:
Another, more unique weapon of the suit are its two MR-Q15A "Griffon" beam blades, one mounted in each lower leg. When activated, a beam is generated between the knees and foot, which allows the Infinite Justice to surprisingly attack enemy units or kick away beam boomerangs. This tactic is used to great effect by Athrun in his final battle with the Impulse and Destiny.

MX2002 Beam Carry Shield:
As with the other newer Gundam-type mobile suits, the ∞ Justice is equipped with a beam shield for defense. While the other Gundams carry two beam shield generators, the Justice only mounts a single MX2002 beam carry shield on its left forearm. This shield however mounts additional weaponry, which comes in the form of a single RQM55 "Shining Edge" beam boomerang and a EEQ8 Grapple Stinger, similar to the extensional arrestor like that of the ZGMF-600 GuAIZ.

System Features:
Fatum-01 Backpack/Sub-Flight Lifter:
The main piece of weaponry used on the ∞ Justice is its Fatum-01 backpack/sub-flight lifter, an upgraded variant of the original ZGMF-X09A Justice's Fatum-00 backpack. As with its predecessor, the sub-flight lifter can be used in three different ways. The first is being mounted on the back of the suit with its wings swept back to take less space. Second it can be used as a sublifter, similar to the Guul, allowing the ∞ Justice to stand upon it. The third use of the sub-flight lifter is as a remote weapon, during which it is controlled by the pilot to attack enemies from different directions. The Fatum-01 holds six engines, two large ones on top and four beneath the wings, granting the Fatum-01 (and the ∞ Justice when docked) great speed and agility. The Fatum-01 is not without weapons either. A MA-6J "Hyper Fortis" beam cannons are mounted over either shoulder when the Fatum-01 docks with the Infinite Justice. These weapons do have a limited range of traverse but can be elevated 180 degrees. Rotating the cannons 180 degrees exposes the MA-M02S "Preface Lacerta" beam sabers on the back side. There is a single MA-M02G "Super Lacerta" beam saber mounted in the Fatum-01's nose. Finally the leading edge of each wing mounts a MR-Q17X "Griffon 2" beam blades when flying on its own, the sub-flight lifter with activated blades can be used to ram into enemy structures and fly through them, causing massive damage.

Hyper-Deuterion Reactor:
Like the other new Gundams, the Justice mounts a Hyper-Deuterion Nuclear Reactor, granting it nearly infinite operation time and enough power to use the METEOR unit and Variable Phase Shift armor.

METEOR Support System:
The suit's most powerful weapon is the optional METEOR support system, a large mobile weapons platform with powerful thrusters and an even more powerful armament of battleship-caliber beam cannons, large beam swords, and dozens of heavy missile launchers that are designed specifically for the ∞ Justice and its companion unit Strike Freedom.

Neutron Jammer Canceller:
A device built into the ∞ Justice to counter the effects of Neutron Jammers, this gives the ∞ Justice the ability to use its Hyper-Deuterion Reactor without risk of being shut down.

Operating System:
The ∞ Justice uses an updated version of the operating system Generation Unsubdued Nuclear Drive Assault Module complex.

Variable Phase Shift Armor:
An improved version of phase shift armor, VPS armor is capable of automatically changing its strength and power consumption.

Aquarion Evol

Aquarion Evol is the result of the combination of Neo-DEAVA's Vectors with Vector Z as the head. It shares many similarities with the original series' Solar Aquarion as it is the most balanced form, can sport and manifest the Solar Wings, and fights barehanded. Its attacks include the Flying Love Attack (触愛・天翔突 Furaingu Rabu Atakku), where Aquarion Evol grabs its target and flies out of the atmosphere to slam its target into an asteroid and the Mugen Attack (無限拳 Mugen Panchi), Solar Aquarion's signature move from the original series. Subliminal Punch (幻影明滅拳 Saburiminaru Panchi) is a technique it developed while incorporating Yunoha Suroor's Invisibility Element power while fighting Jin in his remote control Radius Gnis where Evol makes itself transparent and doesn't show itself until it's in the face enemy and gives a powerful punch. While being piloted by MIX as the head she incorporated her Element power in Aquarion Evol Absolute Clam (絶対封印 Abusoryūto Kuramu), filling in the gaps in the enemies' weapons and armor, causing them to implode. The weapon located on its head can be used as a long range weapon as seen in one episode whilst battling the Radius Gnis Heavy Armor. It is shown that Donar Dantes, together with two other Element users whose names are unknown, were able to execute and use Aquarion Evol 8 years prior to the events of the first episode. However, it went berserk and caused a tragic disaster, and according to Fudo Zen, this occurred because Aquarion was being piloted by two Elements in love with each other, one being Donar.

Less bulkier than other Machinas, it is equipped with a huge contraption on its back, which comes with eight coffin-like plates that acts as shields, makeshift wings to increase dashing speed or mobility. Each of the coffin-like boxes house two long katana, which Vardant uses in pairs for each hand. Its mobility, coupled with Moritsugu's own prowess and lack of pain response, make Vardant one of the most powerful Machinas, mostly thanks to its pilot's skill alone.

It is the modified version of Anaheim Electronics's MSN-06S Sinanju Stein and the successor unit to Char Aznable's MSN-04 Sazabi. It is piloted by Full Frontal. Originally the MSN-06S Sinanju Stein developed by Anaheim Electronics as part of the Earth Federation's "UC Project", its movable frame is partly made from psycoframe materials. Data obtained regarding the unit's responsiveness and capabilities was later used to complete the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam. Although the Sinanju was based on the MSN-04 Sazabi, and equipped with a psycommu system. the machine features no Newtype-use weaponry such as funnels, challenging its existing design and basic performance as a mobile suit.To compensate for this the Sinanju boasts high mobility and features large thrusters mounted in a wing-like arrangement on its back. Sporting multiple vernier thrusters throughout its frame, the unit is capable of achieving precise movements and high speeds.Its overwhelming combat ability, crimson body and mono-eye sensors remind all who see it of the legendary "Red Comet".

Nirvash type the END [Eureka Seven]

The other Nirvash shown in the series is type the END (ジ・エンド Ji Endo?), which is piloted by Anemone. Nothing is known about its creation, but, like the Nirvash type ZERO, it doesn't seem to need a Compac Drive due to the nature of its pilot. To pilot it, Anemone is interfaced directly with the machine through an amorphous, organic frame. Overall, it is much larger than the type ZERO and colored black instead of white (until shortly before its destruction). Like the type ZERO, the END is capable of moving on its own, though it doesn't do so until episode 48. It also has actual eyes, like the type ZERO. the END perishes in its final appearance in episode 48.

the END, unlike the type ZERO, is equipped with many weapons. Each of its arms are equipped with a retractable set of claws, both of which can be fired to attack opponents at a distance. Each set of claws remains attached to the END with a large cable and can be controlled through rockets attached to them. Alternatively, it can utilize a pair of scythe-like knives, seen in episode 48. the END also comes equipped with three sets of homing lasers, one on each shoulder and another on its pelvis. Its final weapon is a massive directed energy weapon known as "Bascude Crisis". It is fired from two plates on the END's chest and later gains the "Vahalla Swell" technique in a tag team with the Ageha squad, a move that eliminates all anti-body coralians within its radius. It also features a unique ref board that can be split into two skis for better maneuvering.
