652: Grim Prospects Ahead

Jinbe and Jyamon (ohana's name for Neptune) talk about the future of both Jinbe and the whole country
Jyamon says that if they become a country that no longer bears Big Mom's flag, they'll just have to use the Strawhat one instead. He and Jinbe laugh about it.

Everyone is surprised that Luffy picked a fight with Big Mom, a Yonkou
Neptune tells them about the bomb and starts freaking out
Nami says that they handed over ALL the treasure. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji are beaten to bloody pulps.

Caribou is running near the candy factory. There, Pekoms and Tamago are carrying a big bag
Caribou says "Hand over the bag!" Gatling gun.
Pekoms is a zoan type (his body is a turtle)
Caribou swings an axe, but Pekoms beats him with a single punch.

Pekoms bounty is 330,000,000 berries.

Tashigi has become a captain. Her eyes are as bad as ever.

Usopp and Chopper are in low spirits over the thought of challenging a Yonkou
Neptune is worried about the bomb
Nami gets a new Log Pose from the minister (right or left? not specified). This one has three needles.
"It'll take half a day for the Log to set, here."
The needles each have a "memory" of a different island, so there are three possible routes
It's up to the navigator to chart a safe route, based on the needles' movements
Strange movements predict a high chance of danger
Listening from the side, Luffy says "Let's go with the one that's shaking like crazy!" but Nami stops [him]
Preparations for setting sail are completed!
Everyone comes to see them off. Luffy calls to Jinbe from the ship. Jinbe nods.
They set off from Fishman Island. Reluctant to see them go, Shirahoshi clings to the ship.
Shirahoshi says she wants to see a real forest.
Luffy promises to take her the next time they meet
In unison, the whole crew raises up their index fingers (and promises)
The ship moves up into the sea
Luffy: "Where we're going up to now, this is where Shanks is. I'd like to see him!"
He recalls Shanks giving him the hat, and the words of Ace, Jinbe, Rayleigh, and Coby.

Luffy: "Let's go, you guys! To the New World!"

The children are delighted by a robot (Franky?)
The head asks if they know a boy named Peach [something] and is made afraid (?)
Sanji tries to stop her, but Nami cries and asks to be saved, saying that they can't turn back now and asking if the children will eat the pursuers up.
The crew asks to be saved by the children.
Franky and Sanji fight those that remain.

In the room where they're being held, the PH forces take a look at the after effects of Franky's laser. It seems that only the Pacifistas of that annoying Vegapunk are expected to have this laser technology.
High in the sky a birdperson is talking on a Den den mushi. The four invaders are being taken down.
Luffy's group gets a call from Brook. Before Brook's eyes stands an amazing-looking building.
The bird person's companions are both centaur-like. One has the lower half of a leopard and the torso of a human; the other has the lower half of a giraffe and the torso of a human.
The two are crushed by Luffy and Robin. The den den mushi they had has "CC" written on it.
According to the conversation of Smoker (and his people), two years ago Punk Hazard was just a "normal, stinkin' island." But Akainu and Aokiji's fight changed the weather.

The boss, M, Law, and Smoker. Lots of enemies, huh!

M goes inside a flask.
He's probably the user of the Gas gas fruit.
His appearance is, as we thought, some sort of liquid or vapor.
Law calls Smoker, "White Hunter-ya." (adding the ya like he did with Luffy)

Luffy and the gang have their boat sunk by a bazooka that hits the water's surface
There's a shark in the lake. Zoro is attacked.
The man called Boss is a crocodile centaur.

Brook appears and freezes the guns of the Boss and his group
Having emerged just fine, but still freezing and wet, Luffy schemes to steal the enemies' clothes.
The Boss is scared upon realizing who he's facing.

Law creates an objet d'art by sticking the Marine ship to the island
He faces Sanji's group (Sanji says "There's no way we're gonna run!") and attacks with his power
The hearts of the four pop out and they essentially switch identities.
Sanji is in Nami's body.
Chopper is in Sanji's body.
Nami is in Franky's body.
Franky is in Chopper's body.

The Marines threaten to tattle on Law for breaking the don't-attack-the-government pact (part of being a Shichibukai), so he snatches up their Denden Mushis
Law: "I won't allow you to report to the government or to headquarters all that you've seen here."
Law has the Ope Ope no Mi (Operation Operation Fruit)- he's a Free-mod Human. He confronts Smoker.

Tashigi moves to attack but it also cut down. Her haki wasn't enough (?)

Law says, in regards to Tashigi "Weak shits should just die"
The Marines, upset by the insult, shoot, but Law counters by replacing their bullets with snow
Law tries to cut Tashigi again but Smoker stops him
Marines: "Uooohhh! Smoya!!!"
An intense fight begins

The crew is moving around by riding on top of Brownbeard
Inside the castle, M and his subordinates speak. The human-face bird-body appears.

Smoker starts to suspect that there's someone behind Law (figuratively and physically?)
Law: "If we don't change this setting, there'll be more things that shouldn't be seen, Smoker.... Scalpel" and with that, he extracts Smoker's heart. The match is decided. Smoker has fallen.
Luffy appears there
Luffy: "Eh?! You are...!?"

Cover is Saldeath and Sadie. They're now lovers. Saldeath has gotten really big.

Luffy expresses his thanks to Law; Law says it was a debt of gratitude. Luffy thanks him anyway.
Tashigi returns to normal, notices Smoker's condition and rushes to him. She sees his body and attacks Law. I think Smoker and Tashigi's bodies change places.
Law tells Luffy to turn to the back of the laboratory. What you're looking for is there. We'll probably meet again. There's something to be recovered, reciprocally (between two people. not sure which two he's talking about)." he says before vanishing into the castle.
Luffy's group runs from the Marines.
Sanji, in Nami's body, has his eyes turn into hearts. "Isn't there a camera somewhere? I've got to take a picture or something before switching back!"
Nami retorts from within Franky's body. Franky's aloha (hawaiian shirt?) is closed (buttoned up, I guess).
Franky complains about her buttoning the shirt, from within Chopper's body.
Everyone, including the children, complain about the cold. The severed head says to put a rock or a leaf or something on his head. He chants "Doron!" and coats and shoes for everyone pop out of nowhere.

The head is an ability user. He had been quiet about it until now because he liked looking at Nami's body.
The crew reunites.
Sanji, in Nami's body, peeks at himself (that is...her body). Nami, in Franky's body, punches him from behind. Luffy is surprised.
Sanji's group explains the situation.
While the explanation is going on, Sanji starts to strip.
Luffy's group laughs uproariously.
The head adheres to his lower half.
It's explained to Luffy that Law is a Shichibukai.

Smoker wakes up in Tashigi's body.
He starts smoking a cigar.
Smoker realizes that he recognized the CC mark. He's somehow living even with his heart gone.
He realizes it's the mark of Vegapunk's former colleague, the bounty-bearing Mass Slaughter Weapons Expert, scientist Caesar Crown.

Colorspread: The guys are having a shootout on the Mini Merry

Tashigi recalls that there seem to have been a lot of kidnappings in this area.
Smoker didn't know that and speaks after opening all the buttons on his shirt (?). There are often reports of kidnappings that come in to G5 but by the time they make it to the papers, the stories have changed to those of shipwrecks, disappearances, or pirate incidents. Smoker denies that there could be a traitor in G5. I don't doubt the merit of you idiots.
The traitor is JOKER Caesar is talking with someone on the phone. He gets permission to kill. The strawhats, G5, whoever, it will seem like they died in an accident on the nearby fire sea.
Caesar says to capture those who can be captured. But don't kill yourself trying, considering that the enemy is a 400m bounty. Monet warns that his true power might even not be reflected in the bounty.
Brownbeard's underlings beg Caesar to save Brownbeard. Caesar says that, before that, he'll fix them up with a "new medicine."

Usopp has made masks for the switched crew members, to better remember who they are.
Brownbeard says that Law is coming to save him.
He says that the Strawhats' generation of rookies are the worst sort of plague on the world. The one who broke up Brownbeard's crew was Hawkins.
He arrived on PH after having both his legs snatched away by Hawkins. Prisoners had been brought her to be experimented on, but the government abandoned the prisoners after the explosion 4 years ago and barricaded the place up.
The remaining prisoners lost the use of their legs due to nerve gas but were accepted by Caesar as his subordinates. They call him a savior god. Law came a few months ago and remodeled them into centaurs.
Brownbeard says it would be best to run away if they encounter the rampaging dragon.

Caesar gave some medicine to some other subordinates, but that ended in failure with an explosion.
The incident 4 years ago was his fault.
He's a former scientist of the government with a bounty of 300m. Gas gas fruit power user.
I'll show the world who's the number one scientist! he says.

Smoker says it'll be bad if Caesar isn't stopped.
