Caster Magic User: Being the Master of the Fairy Tail guild and a member of Ten Wizard Saints, Makarov is an immensely powerful individual despite his old age. He possessed such enormous magical power that Angel, one of the Oración Seis able to take a guild by themselves, would have been deeply troubled if another wizard saint, Jura Nekis, was of the same power. He was also said to be among the most powerful Ten Wizard Saints, given his ability to beat Jose Porla, another Wizard Saint.
Jura himself admitted that he was far weaker (comparing the difference between them to the distance between heaven and earth) than Makarov even though he was still able to easily defeat Brain, the leader of the Oración Seis.[14] Another example would be that just his magical presence, when enraged, was enough to cause objects around him to be destroyed, the other mage who was shown to have this ability is Gildarts who used his magical aura to overwhelm Natsu. It must be noted that Makarov is not what he once was, and the amazing power he has displayed is as his now- it unknown how much more powerful he was in his prime. As further testament to his power, even the Seven Kin of Purgatory were taken aback by his Titan magic.
Another spell which noted Makarov's extreme magical power is his Fairy Law. Said to be possible the most powerful single mage spell yet seen, Fairy Law is considered super-powerful that it's one of the rare legendary spells. The spell is so powerful that it defeated Jose Porla, the Phantom Lord's guild master and a fellow Wizard Saint, in a single blow.

Elemental Magic Specialist: Makarov also has various other unnamed magics asides Titan, such as a piercing lightning attack and a powerful shock wave-like attack. Also, according to his guild card, he has knowledge of several different elemental spells like earth, water, fire, wind and light.
Master Sensor: Makarov is able to sense magical presences very well. Knowing for example that Natsu, who had presumably been transformed into a lizard, was actually Macao when all the other members had been duped.

Enhanced Durability: Despite all the damage dealt to him by Hades and his critical state, Makarov was still able to speak freely and even help Natsu in combatagainst Zancrow.
Enhanced Magical Power: Makarov has immense magical power. Makarov can release his magical energy into a potent aura around him. It is referred to as "Giant Wrath".

Loke (ロキ Roki) is a member of the Fairy Tail guild. He is very flirtatious with attractive women, being top ranked "Mage you want to have as your boyfriend". He attempts to flirt with Lucy but after finding out that she's a Stellar Spirit mage, he quickly stops his advances. Mirajane said that something must have happened to him with a similar female Stellar Spirit mage. She also mentioned that Loke once tried to flirt with Erza, but nearly got himself killed because of it. His weapon is a magical ring and is skilled in "hand-to-hand" combat.

He seems to have an interest in Lucy, despite his fear and is the one who searched for Lucy's lost keys and subsequently saves Lucy from bandits.


After his sudden departure from Fairy Tail, Lucy discovers that Loki is a Stellar Spirit, Leo the Lion. His master was the famous Karen Lilica, who was a member of Blue Pegasus. Since her death three years ago, he has remained in the human world, unable to return to the Spirit World because he was exiled for killing his own summoner. He reveals that prolonged stay by a Stellar Spirit in the human world leads to imminent death.

Although he says he killed Karen he did not kill her himself. Karen was abusive, vain, and arrogant towards her other Zodiac Stellar Spirit, the timid and kind Aries. One day she was about to punish Aries by forcing her to remain in the Real World for seven straight days, something that would probably kill her. Sick of Karen's apparently frequent tantrums, Loke summoned himself in Aries' place and refused to go back to the Spirit World until Karen broke both their pacts and left her house. However Karen died on a mission before she could release them. This was due to the fact that she couldn't summon any other spirits while he was already summoned and thus he blamed himself for her death.

However, although Loke had given up hope and was more than willing to die, Lucy managed to convince the Stellar Spirit King to revoke his exile. Loke is now one of Lucy's Stellar Spirits. He promised to be Lucy's backbone, and returned to the spirit world to recover. With him, Lucy now has half the Gold keys.

After recovering, Loke is seen flirting with Lucy and being nice and friendly to everybody. He declared that he has abandoned his old ways, flirting with only Lucy now. He has also self-proclaimed himself to be Lucy's knight in shiny armor.

Before Lucy got annoyed and sent him back to spirit world, he give Lucy's team tickets to a fancy hotel he had planned to take his girlfriends to. Since he can no longer stay long in the real world, he wants Lucy's team to go because he wants to thank them for all the help they've given him.

Lyon is a former student of Ur. Like Gray, Ur trained him when he was a child to use ice magic. Since meeting Ur he came to desire surpassing her at all costs, reading her magic books in secret to learn spells more powerful than what she was teaching him. After Ur gave her life to save Gray from Deliora by encasing it in ice, Lyon blamed Gray for depriving him of his chance to surpass her. 

Lyon performs his ice magic with one hand, a faster though less reliable alternative to Gray's two-hand magic. Similarly, unlike the static ice creations Gray makes, Lyon's ice takes the form of animals that can move about after their creation.
