PrequelMuv-LuvMuv-Luv Alternative takes place after the events of the original Muv-Luv. Alternative focuses on the life of Shirogane Takeru three years after Muv-Luv; Takeru wakes up believing that everything that had happened was just a dream. However, he notices something wrong: he has been sent back in time to the beginning of the events in Muv-Luv: Unlimited. But instead of letting a disaster strike again, he decides to help stop it before it even begins. The solution: helping to complete Alternative IV.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This patch is made for a very specific version of the game, the 2004/04/30 Muv-Luv DVD-ROM Version (マブラヴ DVD-ROM版). Do not even bother asking for support getting it to work on any other version. If your version is incompatible then the patcher will warn you.
YOU MUST USE JAPANESE LOCALE! Japanese locale (real Japanese locale, not something like AppLocale) will be the only supported environment. The installer probably won't even work if you don't have Japanese locale. I do not recommend solutions like AppLocale to get around the locale. It won't end well.
You can install Muv-Luv using the patch installer instead of using the installer from the game. It will copy all of the data required for Extra and Unlimited and also install the patch at the same time.
Do not change the font or you will ruin the wrapping. MS P Gothic Normal Non-Bold is the only supported setting. Antialiasing, Shadow, and Outline can be changed however you want.
