A beautiful woman with prodigious fighting skill. She acts as Munsu's 'Sando', or bodyguard. When she was kidnapped by a corrupt lord who wanted to make her his personal bodyguard, her lover embarked on a futile quest to become an angyō onshi. He died in the process, but not before making Munsu aware of her plight. After Munsu frees her, she decides to become his bodyguard in memory of her dead lover, and takes the title "Sando" as her new name.

Despite her fearsome natural fighting ability, Sando is quiet and shy, with a high moral stance. As a result, she is often in conflict with the amoral Munsu over his questionable methods. She has made it clear that if he ever becomes truly evil, she will no longer protect him. She also has a great fear of heights, and will refuse to cross bridges set over deep mountain gorges or valleys. Munsu finds this extremely peculiar, seeing as to how she often leaps several stories into the air during combat.

She is Minato's fourth Sekirei and her power is water (derived from her name "umi" which means the sea). She contacted him over a dream saying that she would kill him, but when they finally met she was persuaded into becoming his Sekirei. ( ch.22-23) She says that she is Minato's legal wife. At the beginning, she wanted to be the strongest to demonstrate that Ashikabi were not necessary to win but later she confides to Miya that her only goal is to get stronger to protect and live together with her Ashikabi forever.

Miu Furinji is a curvaceous 16-year-old girl who attends the same school as Kenichi and is currently in her second year. She is the granddaughter of Hayato Furinji and the daughter of Saiga Furinji the leaders of Ryozanpaku and Yami's One Shadow Nine Fists respectively. It is unknown how or when Miu came into Hayato's care but she has been with him since she was at least 6-years-old. It was in these early years of her life that Miu learned martial arts from her grandfather and also accompanied him on his missions to bring about peace.

The student council president. An outwardly cold girl, she is the most powerful student at the school. Her sister, Yuri, is the head of Reunion. Her initial impression of Gangryong is that he is useless. In the past, she fought Lightning Tiger, and the incident left a scar and a strong impression. Though he was her enemy, she regards him almost as a former lover. She fights using the Arts of Heaven's Rich Strength. What she seeks can't be obtained by Reunion or the council and she actually hold no interest in them. She fights Guesong after he interfered in her goal and kills him, afterward Rud challenges her to a formal match next year.

Erza Scarlet is one of Fairy Tail's S-class wizards. She is a very strong individual and can lift things weighing several tons with great ease. Erza is very stern and places great value on the rules of Fairy Tail; if someone steps out of line or is slow to do as she asks, she does not hesitate to punish them, so many characters are quick to apologize if they think that they have angered her. This comes up most often when Natsu and Gray start arguing, where they are quick to stop and make up if someone mentions Erza. Erza is not without compassion, however, and will do her best to make Natsu and Gray happy, even if it means delaying their punishment until later.
