Jamiroquai is a Grammy Award-winning English acid jazz/funk/soul band. Jamiroquai was initially the most prominent component in the early-1990s London-based acid jazz movement, alongside groups such as Incognito, the Brand New Heavies, Galliano, and Corduroy. Subsequent albums have explored other musical directions such as, but not limited to, pop, rock and electronica. Jamiroquai has sold well over one million records in the United States alone.

Formation and history

The band name is a portmanteau of Jam session and "iroquai", based on the Iroquois, a Native American tribe. The lineup of the band has changed several times, but the core members of the band are lead singer and songwriter Jason "Jay" Kay and drummer Derrick McKenzie (1994). Kay was the impetus behind the formation of Jamiroquai, deciding to form the band after an unsuccessful audition to become the singer of the Brand New Heavies. Their style has been described as an update of funk and soul music

По мое мнение адски добра групичка за разпускане и настроение

Един от първите дискове които си купих преди 7-8 годинки беше негов
невероятен,просто нямам думи
...макар последните няколко неща малко да не ми харесаха,но това няма значение

Добри са .......... но не ги слушам често ......... 1 път месечно ...

"Cosmic girl" я слушам цял ден
Много добра песен.

На Corner Of The Earth (има я при клиповете които съм дал) колко разпускам не е реално!И клипа е супер готин и релаксиращ.

Имам няколко песнички на компа,разтоварваща и хубава музика правят само трябва да си в точното настроение,за да ги слушаш
