If you are in big trouble, call the World Welfare Work Association or WWWA. They will send out a team of highly trained, capable agents called Trouble Consultants, who will solve your problems. However, should you happen to be assigned the Dirty Pair, your problems may get solved, but not without extensive collateral damage.

Note: Originally, the TV series consisted of 26 episodes, but only 24 were broadcast before the show was cancelled. These concluding two episodes were released as OVA, though: Dirty Pair: Lovely Angels yori Ai o Komete.

The Dirty Pair are traveling to the planet of Ookbar in search of a missing girl. Kei and Yuri have traced Missinie to the forest of Nolandia, but their investigations have stalled thanks to the less-than-helpful Chief of Security. But the Dirty Pair have never let a little bureaucracy stand in their way.

Agerna is a planet rich in Vizorium, the one mineral necessary for space travel. So when a series of mysterious attacks on mining operations has the world governments pointing fingers and blaming each other, the World Welfare & Works Association naturally sends in their top agents to investigate.

But are the lovely angels up to the task of stopping a mad scientist bent on taking a long dormant alien race to its final evolutionary stage? Throw in a thief who is hunting for a bottle of World War II-vintage wine and it is a safe bet that nobody on the planet is safe. It is more chaos, more mayhem and even more destruction than ever before as the Dirty Pair take on their most challenging case yet!

Dirty Pair OVA is more or less quite similar to the TV series. The episodes are "mission of the day" type without any story to tie them all together. The difference, however, is that these episodes are just made better.

Kei and Yuri — the Lovely Angels or better known as the Dirty Pair — investigate a counterfeiter, who has protected himself with a huge arsenal of electronic defence gadgets and deadly robots. And finally they try to stop a megalomaniac from holding Chief Gooley and Eleanor City hostage.

Chief Gooley's worst nightmare may have come true... The Lovely Angels or more infamously known as the Dirty Pair are back on the job, but this time the 3WA's Central Computer has assigned them two cases at the same time: investigate a space liner explosion killing three hundred people, but no one has come forward to claim the insurance money; and find a missing scientist and his family.

Could the two cases be connected? Only the Central Computer knows, but is withholding the information. So it is up the Dirty Pair to get down and dirty and solve the puzzle before time runs out for a grieving grandfather, his family and the universe!

A bit of a butch, gun happy, and the exact opposite of Yuri. Kei keeps her hair short and would not be caught dead in a skirt, preferring pants instead. Fiery, she can be very single-minded and when she sets herself to a task, she will let nothing get in her way. Prone to violence at the drop of a hat, her solution to any problem is to blow it up. She is oil to Yuri's water and firmly convinced that the only partner she needs is her trusty blaster.
