A Bishoku-ya with an abnormally large appetite (A food serving for 500 people could only get him 1/10 full). He is known as one of the "Four Heavenly Kings", and his nickname is "The Glutton". Despite having a huge appetite and massive power, he doesn't indiscriminately kill and eat any animal; he only kills those animals he decides to eat. He has immunity to seventy different poisons, created by injecting himself with a near fatal dose of each poison and causing his body to create antibodies. He also has an animal-like sense of smell. He has adopted the Battle Wolf's new born pup and named it Terry Cloth. Like the other Kings, Toriko started of as a chain animal.
Hunting Method: Toriko relies on his sheer monster-like strength to capture his targets.
Full Course Menu: Currently, Toriko has yet to fill his menu in any slot but Hors-D'oeuvre, Soup and dessert. He decided that the Dish God will be his main dish.

Accelerator is the most powerful Psychic in Academy City. A sadistic boy about the same age as Tōma, he has an ability called "Vector Change", a form of telekinesis allowing him to change the vector values of anything he touches due in part of having a thin coat of AIM fields surrounding his body. This ability allows Accelerator perform feats such as reversing the blood flow inside a person's body, increasing the wind velocity around him to create a massive plasma storm, and blocking sound. His ability is automatic, which means that he must consciously allow gravity to affect him and that his body blocks all ultraviolet radiation, resulting his albino appearance (white hair and pale skin) because his body is unable to make melanin. The automatic nature of Redirection also prevents the use of projectiles (like bullets) and explosives (like bombs) against him.

Sakaki is a 29-year-old extremely powerful, self-proclaimed 100-dan karate master. He claimed not to take disciples at first, but gradually grew to like Kenichi and is always eager to train him. He has a soft side which he tries to hide behind his tough guy attitude, and is usually the one worrying about Kenichi the most despite acting like he does not care. He is also a terrible liar and often fails to hide his concern for Kenichi. He likes to gamble and can usually be seen drinking alcohol. He is also "fluent" in English after brawling all over the world. He is the fiance of Jennifer Grey(even though Sakaki was drunk and Jennifer was a child at the time he proposed). He is an old friend of Christopher Eclair, a Yami member. Sakaki, Christopher and Mycroft (Possibly a reference to Mycroft Holmes, Sherlock Holmes's older brother) used to team up to fight against the mafia and help the FBI. He refused to kill or use old people or children as hostage. Christopher, tired of Sakaki's methods, tries to ambush him, but Sakaki buries him alive in a desert (when Kenichi learns this, he imagines them being tied up in a hole while Sakaki uses a bulldozer, claiming that the two aren't even good manure). The majority of the underground fighters are scared of Ryōzanpaku and Sakaki in particular. There is little known about his past or why or how he became a martial artist especially of his status. Though his master was said to be a master of "Sei", which means that Sakaki's master was a very logical person at heart though to get him to his level, he must have undergone through unimaginablly hellish training.

Johan Liebert is the titular "monster" of the story who serves as the principal antagonist; the mystery of his past is the main focus of the plot. He has been called a monster, the next Hitler and even the Devil himself. Johan Liebert was shot in the head at a young age but saved from death by Dr. Tenma. Because of this, he regards Dr. Tenma almost as though he was his father. He claims to have a deep love for his twin sister and is shown to have some loyalty to her. He has spent portions of his life in different places under different aliases. He possesses an extraordinary level of charisma and intelligence, as well as being cunning, manipulative and deceitful. While he is shown to be kind, compassionate, and loving to children, he can be cold and very cruel. He uses his gifts to cruelly manipulate and corrupt others, often with no apparent end than to cause suffering and destruction. His goal, as he stated when he was young, is to be the last one standing at the end of the world.

Gōzaburō is the boss of the Seto Group. He dotes on his daughter and hates Nagasumi for, as he sees it, trying to steal her away. By pulling strings at the ministry of education, Gōzaburō, together with many of the Seto Group members, enrolls in the staff of Nagasumi's junior-high school in order to watch over Sun, thus becoming Nagasumi and Sun's homeroom teacher. Even though he is the yakuza head of the Seto group as well as a powerfully built man with a formidable attitude, he has an overwhelming fear of cats (or kittens) due to an incident that happened in his childhood (which parodies that of Doraemon's fear of mice, both in its origins and his reaction when seeing the object of his phobia). He fears his wife as she will not hesitate to hand out punishment.

A prince of the Emishi tribe, Ashitaka is cursed in combat with a demonic boar. His only hope for a cure is to return to the forested land from which the boar-god originally came and discover what rage infected it. Leaving his people behind forever, he makes that journey and discovers the gods of the forest at war with the humans in a iron-mining town. Ashitaka vows to help the two sides reach a compromise, to cure them of the very anger that now eats away at him. The key to compromise appears to lie with a mysterious human girl who lives amongst the gods. Ashitaka falls for San (or 'Princess Mononoke' as the townspeople call her) and his slowly reciprocated love turns out to be the cure for the curse that effects him and the land.
