Roronoa Zoro is a skilled swordsman who uses up to three swords at once, clutching the third in his mouth.To fulfill a promise he made to a childhood friend named Kuina,he wants to become the world's greatest swordsman by defeating Mihawk.Before joining Luffy, he made a living by bounty hunting. He joins Luffy's crew in exchange for his aid in escaping execution. He makes it clear that he would turn on his captain if he ever stepped between him and his dream, but unknown to Luffy, Zoro thinks that if he cannot protect Luffy's dream, his own would have no meaning and is even willing to die for it.His physical strength is enough to lift a building. During a fight with Baroque Works agent Daz Bones or Mr. 1, he learns how to cut through solid steel. He can employ an "Asura" technique which gives him three faces and six arms, thus totaling nine swords.In addition, Zoro can expand the muscle mass of his arms. He is extremely poor at understanding geographical directions and gets lost very easily. He also sleeps a great deal and loves to drink.


Kamina (Tengen Toppa Gurenn Lagann)

Kamina is a young man from Giha, a subterranean village, who dreams of leaving the underground and going to the surface, a place which he alone believes he saw as a child. Possessing a seemingly arrogant personality, Kamina is very passionate about his goals and will pursue them without a trace of fear, hesitation, or sometimes sense. This attitude often manifests itself in dramatic speeches which have the power to rally all those who hear them to his call. As his first act of notoriety, Kamina forms "Team Gurren" and convinces his "soul-brother," Simon, to help him with his plan to drill through the roof of the village and get to the world above. However, the plan fails. Kamina willingly takes the blame for disrupting the peace and is jailed by the village chief. At night, Simon breaks him out to show him an extraordinary artifact he unearthed, only to be interrupted by a large Gunmen that crashes through the village's ceiling. A young girl sharpshooter named "Yoko" descends from the surface and ends up joining Kamina and Simon as they pilot the newly unearthed Gunmen Kamina names "Lagann". Together, they defeat the invading Gunmen and reach the surface in the process.

Grimmjow is the sixth Espada in Sōsuke Aizen's army of arrancar, meaning he is ranked sixth in terms of strength. Grimmjow was the first character to be revealed as an Espada in the series.Grimmjow appears to be a laid back and irreverent individual, but this scruffy appearance hides an impulsive, excessively violent personality and a lethally short temper. Grimmjow is blunt, rude, and quite sadistic, revealing an insane grin in battle, much like Kenpachi Zaraki. Grimmjow has little respect for authority and says whatever is on his mind, regardless of whether or not it is appropriate.

Yunoki Azuma was born as the third son to the Yunoki family which gains its prestige from the Business Industry, and because of this, since Azuma was a child, he had been raised and instructed to maintain a good appearance and become a support for his brothers; though it also appears that he should not outshine them in any way, judging from how he was told to quit the piano when he showed progress above one of his brothers and later took up the flute instead.
He is extremely popular (to the point of having his own group of devoted fans) and has a very good reputation in his school. He's one of the contestants in the series' musical competition; playing the flute.
Yunoki is shown to have two sides to his personality; a ‘White’ personality that he publicly display to his peers and what we see from the beginning of the series, which is that of a charming, considerate, and ‘princely’ character, and a ‘Black’ personality

Lelouch vi Britannia (Code Geass)

Lelouch is the son of the Emperor of Britannia, Charles zi Britannia, and the late Imperial Consort Marianne vi Britannia as well as the Seventeenth Prince of the Holy Britannian Empire. After the assassination of his mother and the crippling of his sister, Nunnally, he confronted his father over his apparent lack of concern. Offended by his impudence, the Emperor exiled them both to Japan. In Japan, Lelouch spent his days with his sister at the Kururugi Shrine and met Suzaku Kururugi, whom he befriended after some initial animosity. Following Britannia's invasion of Japan, Lelouch and Nunnally were forced to leave the Kururugi Shrine, taking refuge with the Ashford family, who were his mother's allies. Lelouch possesses very strong philosophical beliefs: beliefs that define both his actions and his motivation for them. Perhaps his most notable is that he is against his father's beliefs of social Darwinism. He believes the world can live in cooperation rather than competition and conflict.




Gunzi/Gunji (Togainu no Chi)

Executes the rule violators of the Igura tournament. He is a 195cm tall blond man who fights with metal knuckle claws. He wears a bright red hooded jacket that is open at the front, exposing most of his tattoo-covered torso. Gunji is not very smart and acts spontaneously and violently, and is extremely sadistic in his killings, but still has a fun-loving, childish innocence to him. Gunji has an affinity with name calling. He is usually seen with Kiriwar, who he calls "jijii" ("old man"), calls Arbitro "papa", and Shiki "Shikitty". Gunji seems to confuse cats with dogs, since although Kau is supposed to be a pet "dog", Gunji refers to him as 'Tama', which is a common pet name for a cat. In the manga, he also names a cat that he finds 'Pochi', the common pet name for a dog. Also, though many English-speaking fans spell and pronounce his name as "Gunzi," the name "Gunji" is considered the 'official' name as it is used most often and also used on official merchandise.

Sakata Gintoki - (Gintama)

Gintoki Sakata is a samurai living in an era when samurai are no longer needed. To add to his troubles, oppressive aliens have moved in to invade. Gintoki lives with Kagura and Shinpachi, taking on odd jobs to make the world a better place...and to pay their rent. In the Joi war, he was known as the "White Devil" (Shiroyasha) due to his silver hair and white coat he wore in battle, which, combined with his impressive capabilities as a swordsman, made him famous among his comrades and struck fear into Amanto.

Despite his appearance and initial behavior, Gintoki has a great amount of pride for the old bushido code. He takes it upon himself to rescue or avenge not only his comrades and friends but also people he barely got acquainted to, be it a pit-fighter who was taking care of abandoned orphans or an Amanto who resembles a kappa.

Despite being a fearsome fighter with nearly unmatched skills, he avoids needless bloodshed after suffering the loss of most of his friends and allies during the Joi war.



Himura Kenshin - (Rurouni Kenshin)

Himura Kenshin, also known throughout the anime as Hitokiri Battousai (Battousai the Manslayer) or Himura the Battousai is the main character of the anime series Rurouni Kenshin. His original name was Shinta. His parents died of cholera when he was very young and as a result, was adopted by three slave women in a traveling slave wagon. Soon after meeting them, bandits had raided the convoy and killed his three new guardians and where about to kill him when Seijeru Hiko killed the bandits. Hiko soon adopted the child and because Shinta was not a name fitted for a swordman, he renamed him Kenshin, meaning "Heart of Sword," took him under his wing and taught him the Hiten Mitsuruugi Ryu.

Kenshin is usually depicted as a care-free swordsman who is very aloof and tends to be a bit simple-minded when it comes to living normally. He is seen to be doing many of the chores around the dojo that he stays at with Kaoru, (i.e., cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.). He believes it is his way of repaying Kaoru with allowing him to stay at her dojo.

However, his swordsmanship ranks among the elite as he is seen defeating every rival (with the exception of Hajime Saitou which ended in a draw). His battle senses are top-notch and he recognizes even the slightest of advantages, strategies and tactics during a sword battle.

Allen Walker (D.Gray-man)


Allen was abandoned when he was a baby by his real parents due to the fact that his arm was deformed when he was born. A traveling entertainer named Mana found him on Christmas and adopted him. However, Mana became ill and died around when Allen was 12. In his grief, Allen enlisted the help of the Millennium Earl. The Earl created an akuma form of Mana, but ordered him to kill Allen. Mana cursed Allen after slashing his eye. Allen's left hand became a giant weapon and destroyed Mana. Allen was then found by General Marian Cross, who decided to train the boy to become an Exorcist. Three years later, Allen joins the Black Order (after a very gruesome training period). At the Black Order, Allen learns of a substance called "Innocence", which was used to defeat the Earl after his last attempt to destroy the world. Now Allen has joined the search for this substance with the help of fellow Exorcists.

Allen's left arm contains a piece of Innocence, thereby branding him as a "parasite type" weapon. His arm can also become a combination of a gun and sword.



Nier (Nier RepliCant)


The title character of the game, he is described as being an "unyielding protagonist" who is trying his best to find a cure for the Black Scrawl virus which has infected his little sister. He is younger and slimmer than the character, Nier of Nier Gestalt.

Graham Spector (Baccano!):

A young man who was not directly involved with any of the main events in the anime. He harbors deep admiration for Ladd, whom he refers to as an "older brother", and can be compared to him insofar as his psychotic, murderous attitude. Graham is obsessed with breaking things, a complex that generally manifests in dismantling cars, but sometimes results in his wanting to "break" other humans as well. He dresses in a blue mechanic's outfit and carries an oversized monkey wrench. Graham also has a peculiar tendency to speak frantically, repetitively, and often philosophizes violently and contradictorily--he will lament about his current state of affairs in the most negative way possible, before changing his mood and suddenly view the same issue in the most positive way possible.

Wanijima Agito/Akito (Air Gear):

Akito Wanijima and Agito Wanijima are two personalities that make up the Fang King, of the Bloody Road. They are originally part of the Wind SWAT team, in which they are treated like a tool by their older brother, Kaito. Ikki eventually saves them, and they join Kogarasumaru. They switch who is in control by using an eye patch. Akito is innocent and non-violent. He becomes attracted to Ikki, much to Ikki's discontent, and often tries to kiss, bathe, and sleep next to or with Ikki. He states he was the original Fang King until he became disgusted with himself and became unable to use AT. Agito then appears and starts using ATs, while following his own violent and bloodthirsty nature. He tends to swear a lot and uses four hooks dangling from straps on his legs to battle and tear people apart. When equipped with the Fang Regalia, he releases a pressurized "Fang" through the instantaneous acceleration and braking of the A-T's wheel motors, vacuuming and compressing air into a piercing shock wave. As the manga develops, Agito grows to respect Ikki and his strength. In some scenes in the manga, Agito is shown to be very weak while sleeping, so much that the guys put him in some very humorous scenes because of his weakness. It is also learned that Akito had been acting as Agito's tuner up until now. However, he wasn't able to fully hear his own biorhythm, only allowing him to keep his other half's A-T and Regalia barely operational. Because roughly 76% of the Fang Regalia was not operational, Agito had difficulty with fully utilizing his "Fangs". It isn't until Yayoi tunes him that the Fang Regalia is fully operational and complete. Akito is very affectionate to Ikki as well as Agito to respect his way of doing things. In the manga, it is showed that Agito has some sort of affection towards Nakayama as he tells her to "protect" herself or not which means she should protect herself and not counting on him or others all the time.

Another personality, Lind Wanijima (鰐島 凜鱗人, Wanijima Rindo?), emerges during the battle with Orca. He claims to be the original personality and he is much stronger than the other two, utilizing the Fang Regalia on a different level. He is a "brain charger", or a person who has been "charged" with the ability of gravity children. Lind's eyes have crosses on them, similar to those of gravity children, but his eyes have two crosses, with one set at a 45 degree angle and overlayed over the other. He does not care for others. It is unknown if he has any feelings at all towards anyone, including Akito and Agito Wanijima, though he has displayed more human compassion towards the then-incapacitated Yayoi Nakayama. She kissed him in chapter 194, while battling Orca underwater, to give him her air so that he could continue battling. It is revealed by Thor of Slepinir that Lind found the "original" sky king, with the "answer".

Hei (Darker Than Black)

Hei is an elite Contractor, with the Messier Code BK-201. Hei has a double persona in the series. In the general public he is referred to as Lee Sheng Shun, a good-natured Chinese exchange student living in the Umitsuki apartments and occasionally working in his "part time job". He has short black hair and a large appetite. He went rogue after going against the Syndicate with Yin and Mao, hiding in Russia as a CIA agent. Lee's other persona is that of the Contractor with the codename "Hei," simply known as BK-201 by authorities or as "The Black Reaper" by other Contractors. His original name was never stated. Even before becoming a Contractor Hei worked as an assassin, earning his nickname. As Hei, he operates in a mask, a bullet resistant overcoat, and gear suiting a military operative.

Hatake Kakashi (Naruto)

Hatake Kakashi is the leader of Team 7 and the sensei of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. Kakashi treats his leadership position with a detached manner, and is consistently late to meetings as a result. In a gaiden on Kakashi's past, this is shown to be the result of an incident in which he witnessed the death of one of his teammates, Obito Uchiha, who gave Kakashi his Sharingan eye and imparted many of his habits, including his tardiness. With Obito's Sharingan, Kakashi has amassed a reputation as a skilled and powerful ninja, earning the moniker "Copy Ninja Kakashi".

Ginko (ギンコ) (Mushishi)



Ginko employs himself as a Mushi master (mushi-shi), traveling from place to place to research Mushi and aid people suffering from problems caused by them.

Ginko's unusual white hair and green eye color is the result of an incident involving a mushi that occurred when he was a child. While designing the character, Mushishi-writer and -artist Urushibara actually planned to have the story take place in a contemporary setting. Ginko's rather modern clothes, which do not seem to match the time period reflected by all other characters, still reflect this. Ginko is a rare person who attracts mushi. This inspires his peripatetic lifestyle; staying in one place too long will gather a potentially dangerous amount of mushi. He also smokes constantly in order to keep mushi away.

In terms of personality, Ginko is rather laid back, but can be very serious when it comes to protecting people from mushi. He also often stresses that the mushi are not evil, but merely trying to survive like everyone else.




Edward Elric (エドワード・エルリック) (Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist 2:Brotherhood)



Edward "Fullmetal Alchemist" Elric is a young alchemical prodigy. He is the youngest State Alchemist ever to be recognized by the Amestris State Military, having received the title at the age of 12. Ed's primary motivation throughout the series is to return his younger brother, Alphonse, to his original body, which was lost in a failed human transmutation. Edward, despite his occasional bouts of immaturity, is a selfless boy who gains a reputation as a "hero of the people" throughout his youth. Notably, he doesn't seem concerned about returning his own arm and leg, instead focusing entirely on Al's suffering.

Ed is short (4'11" to be exact = 1,48 m) and slender, but compactly muscular. He has golden-blond hair and gold eyes. His body is that of an experienced martial artist, with noticeable muscles and a wealth of agility. Although he lacks both his right arm and left leg, Ed's ability to fight is not impaired, and is in fact improved, as he will often use alchemy to cause his metal arm to partly transform into a blade or shield. His heavy automail limbs are considered by him to be the very best in Amestris. They were made by his childhood friend, Winry Rockbell, and she is constantly working on them. He is able to think quickly, even in desperate situations, though can still be frightened into paralysis. These qualities, combined with his alchemical powers and physical strength, make him a formidable fighter.

Though Edward is usually rather mature, he gets annoyed when people comment on his height. He takes these comments personally and usually throws tantrums. He also is rather stubborn about certain things like shots and even milk.

Rayne (Neo Angelique~Abyss)



Rayne is one of the five of the main purifiers. He is quiet, and shy when meeting new people. He was especially shy when he met Angelique. He loves books, and to read. He spends his spare time experimenting, and researching on artifacts. He is also a great cook. He also has sincere feelings for Angelique, and will do anything to protect her. Though he is very shy in showing his feelings towards Angelique. The weapon he uses to purify the Thanatos, is a silver pistol.

Sebastian (Kuroshitsuji)




Sebastian Michaelis (セバスチャン・ミカエリス, Sebasuchan Mikaerisu?) is the series' antihero. He is the butler of the Phantomhive household and acts as Ciel's bodyguard, two jobs he is completely devoted to. However, he is not overly concerned about Ciel's well-being as he insults and even harms Ciel to see his reaction.
